OUR STATE: The health and economic crisis has exposed the many ways that our state fails to work for our hardworking neighbors and our local businesses. I will show up to put common sense solutions ahead of ideology to create a state that works for us.

OUR BUDGET: I will work to bring down every Federal Dollar Florida is entitled to and make certain both our tax dollars and our federal relief funds are spent wisely.

OUR BUSINESSES: Small businesses are the backbone of District 69’s economy. I will fight for our businesses so they have the tools to recover, create jobs, and strengthen our economy. Our local businesses have been put on the back burner for too long. This is why I fought for a Special Session. This is why I fought for an increased budget for Visit Florida.

OUR NEIGHBORS: I will continue to fight until each worker gets every penny due to them from unemployment. I will stand strong with our workers and ensure they receive the training needed to remain competitive, the benefits needed to care for their families, and the diversity of industries needed to strengthen our economy and state.

OUR CHILDREN: I will lead the way in expanding education at all levels, including vocational and technical training programs, as well as pre-K. I won’t stop until we fulfill our constitutional guarantee to parents that all of our children receive a uniform, efficient, safe, secure, and high quality public education.

OUR FAMILIES: Suicides and addiction have reached an all time high. Like many, my family has been impacted by both. I will be our champion in the legislature to solve this continuing crisis.

OUR HOME: Water is our life and our livelihood in Florida. I will fight to protect our beaches, waterways, and drinking water by investing in infrastructure and banning off-shore drilling and fracking. The health of our environment, our families, and our economy is intertwined.

OUR COMMUNITIES: Ensuring our communities have a say in local issues is a top priority. I will fight to return control to our local governments, so you can influence decisions about your neighborhoods, communities, and cities again.
